Kelly Brook and husband Jeremy Parisi want to become TV's new power couple and believe their constant bickering makes them more 'relatable.'

The model and presenter, 44, criticised duos who force their on-screen relationship and 'portray an unrealistic dynamic' to audiences.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the former actress insists she and Frenchman Jeremy, who she married in 2022, aren't trying to be 'perfect', which sets them apart from existing TV partnerships.

After competing on BBC show Celebrity Race Across the World , Kelly says viewers were given an introduction to Jeremy, who spoke no English when he first moved to the UK.

Now, they're starring in La Vita Italiana, a three-part mini-series filmed for ITV 's This Morning, which sees Kelly adapt to life at Jeremy's family home and farm in Arpino.

And Kelly hopes the show will be commissioned for a bigger project as the couple sets their sights on a semipermanent move to rural Italy .

She said: 'We're just a normal couple. We're not trying to be the perfect couple like a lot of TV duos try and portray an unrealistic dynamic.

'But with us, we argue, and we get on and we love each other, we're normal and relatable because we're just like any other couple. It seems that during Race Across the World that's how people saw us. It's just who we are.'

Kelly fell for Jeremy after she reached out to him directly on Instagram and the pair connected over their mutual love of martial arts and fitness training.

During the early days of their romance, Jeremy spoke very little English, with French and Italian being his primary languages.

The radio host took on the role of translator and admits she can still speak on Jeremy's behalf even now he's fluent in English.

She said: 'I know people think I talk over Jeremy all the time. That's because I talk too much and when Jeremy first moved to the UK, he didn't speak any English, so I became so used to talking for him and I've just not got out the habit of it.'

As a seasoned pro, from her breakthrough presenting gig on The Big Breakfast in 1999 to gracing the cover of countless magazines, often topping the 'Sexiest Women in the World' lists, Kelly is far from shy.

And now she's encouraging Jeremy to learn from her how to be charismatic, adding: 'He's a normal bloke after all, it's not like he's a celebrity.'

She continued: 'He doesn't want to be the centre of attention at all actually, what he has found with this new fame is he's having to talk to people and embrace it and put himself forward, which isn't comfortable for him. He's not like me... he hasn't been doing this for years and I'm used to it.

'He finds it challenging even when we're doing a TV show like This Morning or Loose Women, it's a challenge because it's out of his comfort zone.

'I push him to step outside his comfort zone and put himself forward. He's got a lot to offer. It's a good balance between us.'

Viewers have the chance to embrace Jeremy further on La Vita Italiana, which Kelly explained was originally filmed as a TV pilot but has since been signed up by This Morning following the couple's growing popularity.

She said: 'We shot it on Jeremy's farm a couple of years ago to showcase who Jeremy is, where he comes from, the family, where we got married, the fact he's from this olive oil farm...

'But no one knew who Jeremy was then, so it was kind of new but since Race Across the World there's more appetite to get to know him better. We revisited it and This Morning loved it, and they wanted us to shoot some more films for them on Jeremy's farm, so we went back.

'It's like our little mini-Clarkson's farm, it's not full-length episodes but it gives an insight into what it would be if it was turned into a big major TV show. We think it's perfect for the This Morning audience.'

And the Heart Radio presenter says she couldn't think of a better opportunity for the couple to connect further with their fanbase while pursuing their Italian dream by having the show commissioned for a long-term project.

She said: 'We absolutely love Arpino, and we love visiting and being there. If we could get a job there and film a TV show, that would be a dream come true. I can't think of anything better.

'All I am going to do is try and manifest it, we are putting it in the universe. We went to New York three years ago and I said to Jeremy, I think it takes three years to manifest anything, what shall we do?

'I said, I think we should do a TV show in Italy on your farm, it would be so lovely, we went down Little Italy in New York, and we went in all the different restaurants and eating cannolis and we spent a week manifesting this idea and three years later we filmed it and it's on the TV. It's magic.'

A new TV show is not the only ambition Kelly is manifesting.

The star is running the London Marathon for the first time next year with husband Jeremy as they embark on their next adventure since Race Across the World.

Teaming up with shower and bath brand Radox, the couple have committed to the 2025 marathon and Jeremy already has a training schedule prepped to ensure he and Kelly conquer the run in the best possible time.

Kelly said: It's the first time either of us have run a marathon... We are so excited. We were both looking for our next challenge after Race Across the World because we had so much fun together on that job. It was so challenging. We have been together for 10 years, but you never really know how you're going to react in those circumstances. It was the perfect fit really.

'And we have always run together, obviously not this length and distance but we do like to run and be outdoors.'

Although the couple already spend time training together, Kelly says it will be testing for their relationship as they embark on such a tough challenge, both physically and mentally.

She said: 'Training will be challenging and training together will be the biggest challenge because Jeremy doesn't wait for me. What's great about that is he can run home, get in first and run me a nice warm Radox bath, put some salts in... I've got it all worked out.

'The plan is to run it together and Jeremy already has a schedule for us... I guarantee it will be fine, but we have to manage everything else.

'This is the hardest bit, training together and staying together and agreeing on the training regime. Everyone goes at different paces, I might be working really hard one week and not want to train as hard, you get energised and want to do it at different times.

'Sometimes we're really good at motivating each other but other times we're in completely different mindsets... it's going to be a journey for us. But I guarantee I will smash the marathon without having started training in August 2024.'

Kelly, who's known for her curvaceous figure, says she hasn't set herself a weight loss goal during her London Marathon training and due to the strenuousness of the race, will be focussed on recovery and looking after her body.

She added: 'With this, I do want to look and feel my best and be the best version of myself. It's for no one but me. It's about self-care and looking after yourself. I want to remember that it is about looking after my body, my muscles, recovery, not hammering my body too much. It's about feeling my best.'

Kelly and Jeremy are giving away a pair of places to join the London Marathon 2025 with Radox, who are encouraging potential runners to set themselves the ultimate challenge.
