Kenosha police, fire departments investigate suspicious fire

The Kenosha Police Department and Kenosha Fire Department are investigating three pickup trucks found on fire in the early morning hours Thursday.

According to KPD Lt. Joshua Hecker, the two departments are investigating a fire which burned an unoccupied pickup truck that was discovered ablaze in the 5200 block of 31st Avenue at 12:47 a.m. Hecker said the fire from that pickup truck set fire to two other pickup trucks next to it.

There is no one in custody, according to Hecker, as KPD has initiated an its investigation into what may possibly be arson. KFD is conducting the investigation into the possible cause of the fire.
