Kent pub defends price of their Full English breakfast after customers complain they'd have to set up GoFundMe to pay for it

A pub has hit back at disgruntled punters who have blasted its £25 Full English.

The Cow Shed, in Faversham, Kent, defended itself online after customers complained over its pricey all-you-can-eat breakfast.

The eatery's hefty breakfast offers a bottomless fry-up, an array of fresh pastries, your choice of cereals, and unlimited hot beverages and fruit juices.

However customers kicked off a storm as they berated the spot's pricing strategy on Facebook .

One stunned critic said: 'Someone has been smoking crack, no breakfast is worth £25 even if it is unlimited.

'This is Faversham not Mayfair.'

Meanwhile another added: 'People must have more money than sense...

'That would buy dinner for a family for a few days.'

Someone else wrote: 'This is a ridiculous price.

'One person can only eat so much I think the unlimited thing is silly. Once you've eaten a plate full surely that's enough lol .

'You'd go off pop. I certainly wouldn't pay £25 for a breakfast. Probably only a select few able to.'

A fourth added: 'Surely nobody does this!!? I would want someone to cook me breakfast every day for a week for £25!! Ridiculous!!'

Meanwhile another joked: 'Considering setting up a GoFundMe page in order that I can try this lavish breakfast at some point.'

The Cow Shed issued an 800-word defence of its offer, which is available on weekend mornings with children under five eating for free.

In a statement to LADbible , the team said: 'Yes, it's definitely aimed for those who want to indulge, who are comfortable in spending the extra cash to immerse themselves in our quality "ALL YOU CAN EAT" breakfast.

'Note, it boasts The Cow Shed grill up (£13.50 normally – full English), with our own recipe sausages, fresh pastries, cereals, hot drinks & juices.

'Think about it, if you were to frequent any establishment that serves a certain level of quality, with that content having only one serving of each, you'd soon be breaking the £20 mark.'

Adding that the family are 'foodies' who focus on 'Price, quality, timings, environment, service' in their pub.
