Kentucky an early No. 2 seed in March Madness bracket prediction

A.Kim3 months ago

The Cats appear to be an offensive juggernaut through the early part of the non-conference schedule. And the national love is finally coming around.

As Kentucky looks to make its first Final Four since 2015, NCAA.com believes it’ll do so as a No. 2 seed and the eighth-best team in the field overall.

Andy Katz lists the Wildcats as the No. 1 team in the SEC, ahead of the likes of Tennessee (No. 11), Texas A&M (No. 15), Alabama (No. 18), Arkansas (No. 29), Auburn (No. 30), Mississippi State (No. 34), Florida (No. 43) and Ole Miss (No. 44). The conference’s nine representatives is tied for first with the Big 12.

Kentucky would be the No. 2 seed in the East region, joining the likes of Marquette (No. 1), Duke (No. 3), Texas (No. 4), Miami (No. 5), Illinois (No. 6), Oklahoma (No. 7) and Arkansas (No. 8).
