Kentucky musicians band together to benefit the Nest’s Reindeer Express
LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A lineup of area musicians is coming together on the eve of Thanksgiving for a good cause.
Wednesday marks the third installment of Hicks and Funfsinn PLLC’s Tunes for Toys concert and toy drive at the Burl. Every toy donated will benefit The Nest’s Reindeer Express.
The Nest, Lexington’s center for women and children, will supply over 800 area children with brand-new books, toys, art supplies, coats, and more for the holidays.
All proceeds and items donated at the concert will benefit Nest’s mission.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and festivities kick off at 7 p.m. with performances from:
Tickets are available for $20 here , or bring a new and unwrapped item for children up to five years old for free admission.
The items needed most this year are trucks, books, puzzles, sports items, arts and crafts, winter coats, hats, and gloves.
Gifts will be distributed to Nest families and children on Dec. 15.
