Kentucky Weather Tomorrow: Bundle up for Black Friday, chilly temps and breezy winds keep us running below average

You really couldn’t ask for a better weather day to visit with family and friends this Thanksgiving. High temperatures made it into the low 50s. We had an abundance of sunshine. It was spot on.

Now, as we look ahead towards the final weekend of November, the cooler temperatures of winter begin to slowly creep in.

Black Friday shoppers will want to bundle up to hit any overnight openings, or to jump in line early Friday morning before stores open. Temperatured will drop down around freezing overnight.

As winds pickup from the northeast, feels like temperatures will fall into the mid-20s early Friday. We’ll see a mix of sunshine and clouds during the day with highs in the upper 40s.

Those breezy winds stick around as clouds increase again late in the day.

Heading into the final weekend of November, Saturday will be a great day to throw up those outdoor Christmas lights.

Temperatures will start in the mid-20s, so you may want to wait until the afternoon when the sunshine helps us top out close to 50.

It’s also the last weekend of Kentucky’s Gun Deer Season, so if you’re itching to get those last minute tags filled, Saturday will be more comfortable a sit than Sunday.

Sunday, clouds increase. Anyone traveling across the region to get home before the new work week starts will want to watch this forecast closely.

We’re looking at scattered rain showers to cross the region Sunday morning into Monday morning.

While we’ll see rain here in Kentucky, just to the north rain and snow will likely mix as temperatures run closer to freezing. This may impact travel slightly to round out the weekend.

Into next week, we’re talking cold temps. Lows close to 20, daytime highs may struggle to break 40. We’ll end November on a below average note.
