MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- Minnesota safety Koi Perich has landed another weekly honor.
On Tuesday, the Esko native was named the Thorpe Award National Defensive Back of the Week.
It's the second honor this week for Perich, who was named the Co-Defensive Player of the Week in the Big Ten on Monday.
So far this season, Perich has four interceptions to lead the team defensively.
He'll next be in action on October 26th, when the Gophers welcome in Maryland to Huntington Bank Stadium.
