K-9s scour elections office in Pennsylvania after reported bomb threat
York County is now confirmed to be one of the many Pennsylvania counties impacted by .
According to a county spokesperson, a bomb threat was reported at the Elections and Voter Registration Office Tuesday around 7:15 p.m.
The spokesperson said county officials worked swiftly to resolve the issue and had authorities and K-9s look throughout the building and eventually determined that the threat was not credible.
It was one of the many threats reported across the state, as there were similar threats in Centre, Clearfield, and Luzerne Counties.
The county said the threat did not impede election operations in any way.
County officials are working closely with the attorney general and district attorney to investigate where the threat came from.
WHP checked in with other county offices and so far, Lancaster, Dauphin, and Cumberland Counties said no bomb threats were reported.
WHP is still waiting to hear back from Franklin County and Adams Counties.
