"One was a smaller mission-ready package, and that was a swift water type of engagement where they're highly, highly trained to deal with any type of emergency that's dealing with water," Fire Chief Kristin Crowley told KNX News' Craig Fiegener.

That team of 17 firefighters returned to L.A. on Tuesday. A second team of more than 40 came home on Thursday.dZ

Crowley said the firefighters sent to Florida are highly trained experts who are "ready for whatever comes their way."
