LAFLIN — The Catholic Youth Group composed of young adults 12 years old and older from the Roman Catholic parishes of the Pittston Cluster is being formed. An information session and special youth gathering will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday on the grounds of the Oblates Seminary, state Route 315.

There will be an outdoor picnic, bonfire and information about the group made available. Parents and young adults can obtain more information by contacting the Rev. Paul McDonnell, OSJ, seminary rector, at 654-7542 or [email protected] .
NANTICOKE – Luzerne County Community College will hold registration for fall semester classes today from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and Monday from 8:15 a.m. to 7 p.m., at building 5 at the campus on South Prospect Street in Nanticoke.
Day and evening, on- and off-campus classes for the fall semester will begin on Monday. Classes at the college’s Corporate Learning Center in Wilkes-Barre and at the New Albany site will begin Sept. 21.
