Lake City Humane Society on last bag of dog food, requests donations

LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) - Officials with the Lake City Humane Society say they are in need of dry dog food.

Workers say they go through a minimum of about 100 lbs of food a day, and they put their last 50-pound bag in the food bin on Monday.

They're accepting donations that can either be dropped off or mailed to them at 1392 N.W. Shelter Glen, Lake City.

The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
