Lakers: LeBron James' zero-rebound game has not been seen since 2010
The Los Angeles Lakers are currently seventh in the NBA's Western Conference standings, and LeBron James ' brilliant play is a big reason why. Recently James, the NBA's stat king in terms of all-time points scored, recorded a stat that isn't exactly king-like.
A game against Joel Embiid and the Sixers showed just how far Darvin Ham 's team has to go in order to become a true title contender. James broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's all-time record during the Sixers game in a way that few expected .
Unfortunately for Lakers fans, the team was obliterated by their Eastern Conference competitors on Monday during a game in which James put up a goose egg in a key stat category.
LeBron James' Most Frustrating Stat
LeBron James scored 18 points on Monday but did not record a rebound against a powerful Sixers lineup with a front line led by Embiid. The stat was relayed by Lakers Nation on Twitter.
Crazy stat on :This is the first time LeBron James had zero rebounds in a game since Nov. 2, 2010.

James' frontcourt mate Anthony Davis put up 17 points and 11 rebounds, a solid stat line but hardly what the team needed to compete with the Sixers.
Embiid scored 30 points and added 11 rebounds along with 11 assists, recording a triple-double on the same night Tyrese Maxey dropped 31 points and eight assists on an overmatched Lakers squad.
Rivalry Game vs. Pistons on the Horizon
The Lakers will have a chance to right the ship against a Detroit Pistons franchise that is struggling to stay afloat in the East. The Pistons are just 2-15 on the season and have lost 14 games in a row.
James and the Lakers will take on the Pistons on Wednesday , and a loss would shatter any illusions that Darvin Ham's team is a contender early in the season.
