Patrick John Speitel has graduated from Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry with a doctorate in medical dentistry. Dr. Speitel is currently serving as a captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. Capt. Speitel will be attending a general dentistry residency program at Fort Campbell Kentucky. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and a 2016 graduate of Manheim Township High School, he is the son of John and Cathy Speitel.
Daniel Foltz, graduated summa cum laude from the Villanova School of Business at Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in accounting and economics with a minor in finance. During his four years at Villanova, Foltz maintained dean's list status each semester and was inducted into the business honors society Beta Gamma Sigma. He is pursuing his CPA and will join Deloitte this September in audit and compliance in McLean, Virginia. A 2020 graduate of Penn Manor High School, he is the son of Don and Christy Foltz, of Millersville.
Laura Ann Hinnenkamp, J.D., graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School on May 20, 2024. Hinnenkamp earned dual degrees in English and women, gender and sexuality studies with a minor in psychology from the University of Virginia in 2020. A 2016 graduate of Manheim Township High School, she is the daughter of Joseph and Beth Ann Hinnenkamp, of Lancaster. Laura will join the law firm Morgan Lewis in Philadelphia in the fall as an associate attorney.
Antonio J. Astarita, of Willow Street, graduated summa cum laude from Siena College, Loudonville, New York, with a Bachelor of Arts in biology and a minor in science, technology and value. He will be attending Albany Medical College.
Area students were among those who graduated May 3, 2024, from Bob Jones University, Greenville, South Carolina. Jenna Hanson, of Lititz, earned an Associate in Arts in liberal arts. Hannah Wenger, of Denver, graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in voice performance.
Area students were among those who graduated May 11, 2024, from Westminster College, New Wilmington. Bradley Green, of Landisville, earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science. Zachery Tomlinson, of Lancaster, earned a Bachelor of Arts in history.
Area students who received a degree in fall 2023 or spring 2024, or are set to complete their degree this summer, took part in commencement at University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, Kentucky. They are Nathan Brown, of Ephrata; and Nidhi Ishvarbhai Patel, of Lancaster.
Morgan Chmielenski, of Honey Brook, graduated cum laude on May 11, 2024, from Ohio Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts in genetics and psychology.
Gavin C. Davidson, of Willow Street, graduated cum laude from McKendree University, Lebanon, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in accounting.
Area students were among those who graduated from University of Scranton on May 19, 2024. Degrees were conferred to graduates who had completed their academic degree requirements in August and December of 2023, as well as January and May of 2024. Jillian G. Bradley, of Elizabethtown, earned a Bachelor of Science in occupational therapy; Jake B. Horvat, of Manheim, earned a Bachelor of Science in physiology; Megan A. Ryan, of Lancaster, earned a Master of Business Administration in accounting; Alexandra P. Weinstein, of Mohnton, earned a Master of Accountancy in accountancy; and Nicole H. Weinstein, of Mohnton; earned a Master of Accountancy in forensic accounting.
