LARGO, Fla. (WFLA) — A Largo woman claimed a second-tier prize of $4 million playing the Mega Millions game, the Florida Lottery announced.
Reana Mahaney, 60, of Largo, had all five white ball numbers but did not match the Mega Ball number.
The winning ticket was purchased at a Publix on Ulmerton Road in Largo on June 11. The retailer received a $5,000 commission for selling the winning Mega Millions ticket.
Mahaney purchased her $4 million-winning ticket with the Megaplier, according to the Florida Lottery.
The next Mega Millions drawing is estimated at $303 million and will be on Nov. 5, at 11 p.m. All tickets must be purchased before 10 p.m. to be eligible for the drawing, the Florida Lottery stated.
Mega Millions has awarded $1.9 billion in prizes to 83 million players since joining in 2013.
