LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man arrested after crashing his truck into a fence faces his fourth DUI-related charge in recent years and told police he screwed up, documents said.

Alfredo Cuellar faces a felony DUI charge for the Oct. 12 crash, documents said. Officers said the crash, which left Cuellar's truck on a front lawn, occurred near Washington Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive.

Cuellar "was immediately apologetic" about the crash, officers said. The crash occurred when Cuellar sped and collided with a fence.

Cuellar told police he "[expletive] up" and drank before the crash, police said. He also told officers he was on probation for his third DUI within seven years. In Nevada, a defendant's first two DUIs are misdemeanors. Any DUI charge afterward within seven years is a felony.

Inside Cuellar's truck, police said they located "a smoking pipe with a green leafy substance on the front passenger floorboard, along with an opened package with green leafy substance inside."

There was no indication in police documents about Cuellar's license. He did not face a charge of driving without one.

Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Amy Ferreira did not set bail as prosecutors had not filed a criminal complaint. The delay is standard in DUI cases as prosecutors await blood results.

Cuellar was not due to return to court until February. Ferreira ordered Cuellar not to drive and to stay out of trouble until then.

Cuellar's previous arrest records were not immediately available Wednesday. Las Vegas Metro police no longer release booking photos, citing a circuit court ruling.
