Lashana Lynch announced that she is pregnant with her first child as she debuted her baby bump at The Day Of The Jackal premiere in New York City on Thursday.

The 36-year-old Marvels actress — who took on a leading role in the upcoming British drama series — shared her big moment as she joined some of her costars on the red carpet, including Eddie Redmayne and Ursula Corbero.

Lynch is expecting baby number one with partner, Zackary Momoh, although an exact due date has yet to be revealed.

She turned heads wearing a sleeveless, Ottolinger dress that had a shirt and tie image depicted on the upper portion.

The ensemble also contained cheetah-print details and clung to her frame as she stopped by the screening at the Walter Reade Theater.

Lashana opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point, and added a pair of small, gold earrings and a few rings on each of her hands.

The beauty's makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a smoky shadow around her eyes.

For a finishing touch, the No Time To Die actress also added a nude-colored, glossy tint to her lips.

Lynch excitedly showed off her growing baby bump in the fashionable dress as she arrived to the venue - with her pregnancy news coming as a surprise to Eddie Redmayne.

During an interview with Vogue on Thursday, the mother-to-be opened up about her red carpet look and explained, 'I wanted to keep the look really simple, poignant and effective.'

'I feel comfortable and at ease, but also in charge of myself,' the actress further told the outlet.

'Some red carpet gowns, although beautiful and stunning, feel like you're putting on a different part of yourself, whereas here I feel like I'm celebrating the female figure.'

Lashana added, 'For every premiere, you want to make sure you're putting your best self forward. Sometimes it's easy to forget that what you come with naturally is so beautiful and deserves to be celebrated in its own right.'

'You don't have to put anything on you in order for you to feel stunning on a red carpet. Here, I get to just be comfy and chill. That's kind of me all over, really.'

Lynch also talked to Vogue about her evolving red carpet style and said, 'I have spent many years trying to figure out what I'm trying to represent on the carpet every single time I release a project.'

'I've played a lot with colors and textures and lengths and volume and I'm really grateful for those moments because they've helped me grow as a woman.

The Woman King star continued, 'The roles that I'm playing right now are very much breaking through the glass ceiling. And I think fashion should also reflect that, so that's what this dress is doing.'

Lashana took on the role of Bianca in The Day Of The Jackal, which is an adaptation of a novel of the same name written by Frederick Forsythe.

The premise of the series is: 'A manhunt takes place for a dangerous elusive assassin known only as the Jackal [Redmayne],' per an IMDB synopsis.

Aside from Lynch and Redmayne, other stars that were cast in the project include Ursula Corbero, Charles Dance and Richard Dormer.

Eddie - who has been labeled as the 'next James Bond' by fans - also walked the red carpet wearing a pair of black trousers as well as a matching blazer and white shirt with dramatic collars underneath.

For a final touch to his outfit for the evening, the actor slipped into a pair of sleek, black dress shoes.

Lashana and Eddie crossed paths during the photo session and paused to take a few memorable snaps together.

At one point, the two stars were seen flashing big smiles as they had a blast reuniting at the star-studded event.

Ursula Corbero wowed wearing a strapless, red dress that contained a thigh-high slit on the left side.

She donned a pair of cream-colored pumps and added a flashy necklace to further glam up the ensemble.

The star's brunette locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down behind her in light waves while her bangs gently fell onto her forehead.

Her makeup look for the night comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes, as well as a smoky shadow around her eyes.

A warm blush was added to better accentuate her cheekbones, while a nude-colored, matte tint was worn on her lips.

Corbero and Lashana were seen crossing paths on the red carpet and held a lighthearted conversation as they caught up.

The pair also stepped into an embrace as Eddie joined in before the trio took a few pictures together ahead of the screening.

Other celebrities were also in attendance on Thursday, including singer Orfeh who donned a black, leather jumpsuit.

The Broadway star also wore a pair of black, ankle boots and allowed her blonde locks to cascade down in elegant waves.

She accessorized the outfit with a silver necklace and flashy bracelets placed on each of her wrists.

Cameron Moir opted for a stylish black suit that comprised of black trousers and a blazer that had 'VIP' printed in white letters on the front.

Also on the red carpet, Marianne Buckland, Gareth Neame, Lashana Lynch, Eddie Redmayne, Ursula Corbero, Nigel Marchant, Sue Naegle and Brian Kirk paused for a group photo together.

Ahead of the show's release, Lashana opened up about her character, Bianca, who is on the search for the Jackal's identity.

'She is so determined to be this strange version of human superhero,' the actress told Entertainment Weekly last month in September.

'And I say strange version because it's all the twisted elements of things that you would hope that a human wouldn't do when doing good for the world.'

'The way that she goes about her work means that there has to be a fall off and a sacrifice somewhere. And unfortunately for her, that sacrifice and the racking of the brain is worth it.'

In regards to both her character and the Jackal, she added, 'People working for good and people working for bad can have such similarities. At the end of the day, they both just have jobs to do.'
