Lauryn Goodman reveals she wants to take her children's father Kyle Walker's name of their birth certificates in bombshell teaser for her podcast

Lauryn Goodman has admitted she wishes she could take Kyle Walker 's name off their children's birth certificates in a new bombshell statement.

The mother of two, 33, who shares son Kairo, four, and daughter Kinara, 13 months, with Kyle, hinted she wants nothing to do with the Manchester City player, 34.

In a new teaser for her podcast, Yours Sincerely, Lauryn slammed the father of her two children, who she has named publicly as their dad.

When she gave birth to Kairo in 2020, Lauryn came out to reveal that Kyle was the father, before later welcoming another child together last year.

While Lauryn was initially coy about her daughter's paternity, she later confirmed that he had also fathered Kinara, which led to his split with wife Annie Kilner .

Annie, who was pregnant with their forth child at the time, kicked Kyle out of their marital home and he moved into an apartment nearby.

Earlier this year, Lauryn and Kyle were involved in a highly-publicised legal battle over the custody arrangement concerning their children.

The case involved a number of issues, including child maintenance, harassment, and transparency in family court.

The judge ordered Kyle to pay £12,500 per month in child maintenance, as well as nursery, school, and childcare costs.

But just months later Lauryn has teased that she wants to make inquiries to see if Kyle can be removed from their birth certificates.

The clip teased: 'We should be able to get them removed from the birth certs, that's what I think. I mean, everyone has got a choice in it.'

In the comments section of the clip, which was shared to Lauryn's Instagram, some fans admitted they were confused about Lauryn's statement.

They said: 'If you want to get them off the birth certificate why give them his name? Those kids are worth a name that parent [sic]. Forget about the past lead a happy, healthy life';

'Ok now I'm really confused you want him off the birth certificate but they have Instagram profiles with their dad tagged in them and you make them wear daddy T-shirts at every opportunity? Pick a lane.'

Elsewhere in the teaser clip, Lauryn is heard saying: without context 'That stigma has got to go. I mean, we're in 2024.'

Lauryn also revealed that she is still in contact with Kyle, telling her co-host Lisa Andrews: 'There's never not contact. He met Kinara.'

This is the second episode of the podcast Lauryn has launched with Lisa - who had a love child with married boxer Nigel Benn 27 years ago.

In the podcast, sponsored by a Turkish restaurant in north London, Lauryn warns former lover Kyle that she will tell their children 'what he has done to them.'

She says: 'I will be like, "Your dad didn't want to give us astroturf, your dad didn't want us to have air con." It's just like straight up answer to the questions. I asked, it was a no.'

She complained that the courts had only allowed her to get their children a 'similar' standard of living to his four sons with wife Annie.

'They can't get treated equally, only the dad can do that for them,' she said. 'The court will just get you similar.'

Of the £2.4 million house in Sussex which she chose and which the footballer bought for her to live in with their children she complained: 'It's like a greenhouse, there is so much glass.

'Kairo and Kekes they are sweating. They have fans, but I have the blinds shut all day. You can't cool down the house. It's mental.'

Andrews, who gave birth to son Harley four days before Benn's wife Carolyne had his twins following IVF treatment, joked: 'It's Betty Swollocks in here isn't it?' adding: 'Actually make that Featy Swanny.'

Lauryn countered: 'Don't talk about my fanny, you will get people excited.'

Lauryn has been incredibly open about her relationship with the Man City star in recent weeks after her appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

Last week the mother-of-two also shared the full text message she sent to Annie last December as she revealed Kyle was the father of her daughter.

Lauryn shared the extremely blunt message sent on December 27 last year with her 246,000 followers on Instagram.

It read: 'Hey it's Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter. He's been having a relationship with us all including the baby & I've got everything to prove it. He's been apart of our lives seeing the children [sic].'

Meanwhile Lauryn took a cryptic swipe at Kyle on Sunday as she admitted that her 'light has been dimmed'.

The star admitted she is 'struggling' being back on the dating scene and is finding appearing on Celebs Go Dating quite 'emotional' as she attempts to find love again.
