Leslie A. "Les" Rodriguez

Leslie A. "Les" Rodriguez, sunrise: September 1, 1960; sunset: November 9, 2024. Les passed away peacefully in his Hamburg residence surrounded by his loving family after a three year battle with cancer. He was the husband of Denise H. (Kessler) Rodriguez. Les and Denise were married on June 30, 2018 after spending thirty years together.

Born in Reading, he was the son of Jose and Felicita (Rodriguez) Rodriguez. Les worked hard all of his life. He was an equipment operator for twenty-five years for PennDOT, last working in February 2021. Les was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was a compassionate, dedicated, kind-hearted and gentle man who loved animals, especially his favorite dog Angie, and could make friends everywhere he went, given his great sense of humor, beautiful soul and endearing smile. Les enjoyed spending time outside with his loved ones, watching the birds, sunsets and stars. He was always working and crafting on something creative. Les liked The Three Stooges and Fred Sanford. He was a fan of the Eagles and Phillies; and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed cruising in his 1978 Chevy stepside truck. Les was a member of the Shartlesville Fish and Game Association.

Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his children: Michael A. Rodriguez, husband of Lauren; Loni J. (Rodriguez), wife of Toby Wolfe; Kyle Q. Rodriguez, husband of Ashley; Desirae M. VanBuskirk, companion of Tyler Bensinger; and Denelle J. VanBuskirk; and eight grandchildren. Les is also survived by his siblings: Joseph "Rock" Rodriguez, husband of Wendy; Jacqueline Rodriguez; and Lisa (Rodriguez), wife of John Rosselli; two nephews and one niece.
