Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow. A fall storm brought fresh snow to the San Bernardino Mountains Friday morning.
Snow flurries were recorded falling on the Green Valley Lake and Running Springs communities around 4 a.m.
"We could see a couple of inches above 5,000 feet," KTLA Meteorologist Henry DiCarlo said. A light dusting may even be seen as low as 4,000 feet.
A winter weather advisory is in place for the San Bernardino and Riverside county mountains including the cities of Big Bear Lake, Running Springs and Wrightwood until 10 p.m. Friday, according to the National Weather Service .
The highest chances for snow will be through Friday night, "though additional flurries are possible through Saturday morning," the Weather Service stated.
