Let That Cheater Coach Tomorrow. Sincerely, An Ohio State Fan

S.Ramirez3 months ago

Listen, I know that the evidence against Harbaugh is so insurmountable that Michigan went from promising to take full legal action against the Big Ten to graciously accepting the suspension without any further discussion. Harbaugh went from planning on speaking at the hearing to bending over and saying thank you Mr. Petiti may I have another? So I get it. They cheated. They know it. Harbaugh was involved. The Big Ten gave him a little slap on the wrist to appease the public, and the NCAA is going to bring the hammer down so hard in the off-season that it'll force him to the NFL. Everyone with a brain can see how this ends.

But let me say this: although the penalty obviously should have been an indefinite suspension (due to the indisputable damning evidence that the NCAA has already discovered) until the investigation is completed and the Death Penalty can be formally handed down, I say we let that cheater coach on Saturday. I want best on best. I want to see his reaction when he has to watch his defense have to cover Marvin Harrison Jr on the outside AND TreVeyon Henderson on the inside because he doesn't know what play is coming. I want the world to see in realtime Jim Harbaugh revert back to the mediocre college football coach he is right before our very eyes. I don't want him to be able shy away from the cameras afterwards. I want a sideline interview coming out of half when he's asked, why is your defense back on pace to giving up 55+ points to Ohio State like it did every single year before Conor Stalions was hired full-time on staff? I want Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines tomorrow.

And also, anyone who knows ball knows that the Head Coach makes the bigger impact throughout the week in the game preparation than on the sidelines of the actual game. What's he going to do? Give a great pregame speech and get the boys amped up to play? I don't think anyone needs that in this game....
