Letter: Buschman has the skills to be an exceptional judge

S.Wilson41 min ago

Family court is a unique court that can be fast-paced, highly emotional, variable and complex. Cases heard are legal issues that include custody, visitation, support, paternity, child neglect, child abuse, juvenile delinquency and domestic violence. A judge presiding and deciding what is in the best interest of the child and the parties before them needs to have a strong knowledge of family court law. They will need to be empathetic, patient, reasonable and a listener to all parties. With his extensive experience representing all parties in family court cases and his calm kind temperament Steven Buschman has what it takes to be a well-respected, exceptional family court judge in Cayuga County.
