Letter: Election marks crossroads to decide America’s future

America is fast approaching a critical crossroads. A left turn for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz leads to the ultimate change from what we have so long enjoyed. This diabolical duo endorses death, debt, deceit, destruction, disinformation and disloyalty to country. Marxism is antithetical to our democratic republic.

Dismiss the utopian bluster and examine actions and records. As Minnesota governor, Walz allowed large parts of Minneapolis to be torched by rioters after the George Floyd incident. How will he protect a nation? How would you rate Harris' border performance? Failed policies drain our lean pockets even more and steal the lives of our young people via drug abuse.

A turn to the right with Donald Trump and JD Vance gives America a fighting chance to recover life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness with policies that make American citizens a priority over illegal immigrants, get our economy flourishing, reduce taxes and restore hope to the hurting and suffering.

This election is a referendum on freedom versus subjugation. The leftists cannot tout their failed policies but sure can attack those who are successful. They are the greatest threat to our country, not former President Trump.

Our government is based on God's word, the Holy Bible. Conversely, Marxism is atheistic and leads only to poverty and deprivation. It will never live up to its pompous propaganda.

Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn warned, "A great disaster has befallen Russia: Men have forgotten God, that's why all this has happened."

May America not drink this poison.
