Letter: Harris’ actions more revealing than her words

Did you listen, really listen, to VP Harris's recent declaration, "Let me be perfectly clear: My values haven't changed!" This is probably the most truthful and revealing statement we will ever hear from her. Since actions are based on values, she has just assured voters that, as president, she would continue the policies/actions of the past 3.5 years:

Open Borders, highertaxation and continued high inflation, Medi-care for all, abolish ICE, bankrupt the nation, defund police.

Her other recent statements are a mystery, until we realize that they are her attempt to buy votes. Words, after all, are easy to say, and can be easily dismissed after their purpose (her election) is fulfilled.

But her actions - choosing a running mate who has proven himself to be a staunch socialist, and avoiding questions from the press where her progressive values might be further exposed - are far more revealing. They are, in fact, a very accurate predictor of how she would govern (and destroy) this great country.

Meanwhile, corrupt legal systems in sanctuary states like New York, and the insatiably hating press are doing everything possible to destroy Trump. But they can't deny that his values create actions which were proven, during his last administration, to do many positive things for our country.

Votes should be earned by a candidate's values/actions, not their chameleon words or unchallenged lies. Votes should also be cast as if your children's and grandchildren's lives depends on it, because they do!!
