A passing Ontario system brings limited rain chances to the U.P. this weekend, but overall light in intensity - an exiting high pressure maintains enough influence to lift the system and the bulk of its energy north of the region.

It's an above-seasonal temperature trend in Upper Michigan through next Monday - NWS Marquette's historical high temperatures average in the low 50s.

Next week's rain chances come Tuesday as a Canadian Prairies-based system spreads rain of light to moderate intensity. A wintry mix is also possible in the highlands west as a cooldown ensues Wednesday.
