Lincoln's first Burlington store set to open Friday

Burlington Stores is set to open its first Lincoln location Friday.

The discount retailer is one of three tenants going into the former Sears building next to Gateway Mall at 64th and O streets.

The other two have not been formally announced, although building permits have indicated that one of them is Sierra , another discount retailer that sells athletic and outdoors gear, including clothing and shoes.

In addition to discounted clothing and shoes for men, women and children, Burlington also sells home decor, baby and pet care items.

The store will be open 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
