Lions News: Pediatric patients sending heartwarming video to Aidan Hutchinson

A.Hernandez26 min ago
The signature jug Aidan Hutchinson carries on game day holds quite a bit more importance than simply keeping him hydrated.

Each week, it carries the names of sick children who Hutchinson and his family visit at metro Detroit hospitals, including C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor. So when it was Hutch's turn to need some encouragement, these kids stepped up.

Each game, the Hutchinson family's nonprofit and brand House of Hutch features a kid, teen, or even adult battling a health issue and explains their story and why they were selected as one of their heroes. The also includes a GoFundMe link to raise money to help that week's hero. The blog goes as far back as Nov. 21, 2023—so the Hutchinson family has been at this amazing work for quite a while.

And onto the rest of your notes.

More on Hutch—the St. Brown brothers discuss the injury and how it's impacted the team on their podcast for the 33rd Team, joined by Kerby Joseph. "It will be a fun one to watch, but the Vikings will win it." CBS Sports' Pete Prisco deviates from his regular support of the Lions in his weekly picks. What a time to be alive.
