List: Street closures across NYC as Trick-or-Streets returns
NEW YORK (PIX11) – The countdown to Halloween has officially kicked off in New York City with the start of Trick-or-Streets.
The Department of Transportation will shut down streets across the five boroughs throughout the month of October. There will be more than 100 car-free events in the Big Apple this month alone, according to the DOT.

Saturday, Oct. 5
Staten Island: Castleton Avenue, Regan Avenue to Bement Avenue from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Queens: Woodside Avenue, 72nd Street to 79th Street from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 6
Brooklyn: BQ Flea on Meeker Avenue (under BQE), Lorimer Street to Union Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 13
Brooklyn: BQ Flea on Meeker Avenue (under BQE), Lorimer Street to Union Avenue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 18

Manhattan: 34th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade on East 9th Street, Avenue A to Avenue B from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Brooklyn: Kensington Plaza, Beverley Road from Church Avenue to East 2nd Street from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Brooklyn: Chauncey Street Open Street, Howard Avenue to Saratoga Avenue from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
