Local author Carissa Broadbent to discuss new book at Charter Books' event on Nov. 25
Charter Books is gearing up for an exciting event featuring New York Times bestselling author Carissa Broadbent at The JPT on November 25.
From 6 to 7:30 pm, Broadbent will chat with Rhode Island author Riss Neilson about her new book, "The Songbird & The Heart of Stone," the third installment in the Crowns of Nyaxia series.
"Having both Carissa and Riss together in a venue like the Jane Pickens to discuss the Crowns of Nyaxiaseries is a unique occasion for the series' fans. The event is made even more special since it coincides with the release of Carissa's latest book. Broadbent, who calls Tiverton home, has both self-published and traditionally published books under her belt. Neilson, who'll be leading the conversation, is from Providence. Her first young adult novel, "Deep in Providence," was a finalist for the 2022 New England Book Awards.
