Local bakery offers Election Day-themed cookies
OAKWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) — For Election Day, a local bakery offered a sweet treat to voters.
Ashley's Pastry Shop has been making cookies with the likeness of political candidates since 1990. This year was no different.

The shop sold thousands of cookies on Tuesday, with more than 1,400 Harris cookies and over 2,600 Trump cookies gone by day's end.
Theresa Hammons, owner of the pastry shop, calls the cookie sales a cookie poll.
"We've been doing this since 1990, so each and every year," said Hammons. "So, you know, four more years you know where you can cast your vote again."
Ashley's Pastry Shop makes all sorts of cookies, including Ohio-shaped ones.
