HONEY POT – The Recreation Association meets at 7 tonight. Dues will be collected and the Halloween Committee asks volunteers to attend.
SHICKSHINNY – Friends of Jessica Zettle, who was killed in a car crash in August, will sponsor a Road Rally, benefit dinner and concert for her 2-year-old daughter, Lilly Lane, from 2 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Post 459, Route 239 North. Interested persons can register for the Road Rally at 5 Mountain Market in Shickshinny. For tickets, call Karen Mazonkey at 542-7961 or they may be purchased at the door.
SHICKSHINNY – The Historical and Preservation Society of the Greater Shickshinny Area will meet Sunday on the north side first floor of the FLT Building on North Main Street. Meeting begins at 1:30 p.m. with a Board of Directors meeting preceding at 12:30 p.m.
WILKES-BARRE – The Knights of Columbus Council 302 has canceled today’s First Friday Mass. A Memorial Mass for deceased members will be held at 7 p.m. Nov. 3.
