BAY COUNTY, FL. (WMBB) – The owners of the local business are asking you to join them in helping out a Westville woman.

Whites Auto Salvage is selling steak lunches on Saturday to help raise money for 28-year-old Brittany Lee.

Brittany was originally diagnosed with stage one mouth cancer.

Doctors surgically removed part of her tongue, but the cancer grew to Stage 3. It spread to Brittany's lymph nodes and has now become stage 4-A neck cancer.

She needs $100,000 for treatment. Doctors can start on September 17th, if she can secure $50,000.

You can help her get there by simply eating lunch.

"I just want them to know that we're doing this for a good cause. You know, this lady really needs the help she needs. She needs the cancer treatment. She's very young. 28 years old. She's got the rest of her life ahead of her. And we just need to help," White's Wrecker Manager Hassie White said.

The fundraiser will be held at Whites Auto Salvage at 1311 Redwood Avenue starting at noon.

Grab-and-go-style plates of steak, coleslaw, and baked beans will be sold for $12 per plate with all the proceeds going towards Lee's treatment.

White says the benefit will not end until they're sold out, and all donations are welcomed.
