Lock-In committee will meet Monday
The Dallas High School 2008 Graduation Lock-In committee will hold its next meeting on at 7 p.m. Monday, March 31, in the high school library.
DHS Grad Lock-In is an alcohol-free, drug-free, fully-chaperoned, all-night party for the graduating class. It will be the ninth lock-in and will be held after graduation on June 13.
Seniors are reminded to submit their senior picture and a baby or toddler picture for the Lock-In video right away. All pictures will be returned.
Misericordia plans music program
The Fine Arts Department of Misericordia University will present Musica Misericordia, an evening of chamber music by members of the Misericordia music faculty, at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, in the Banks Student Life Center’s Kennedy Lounge. The concert is free and open to the public.
Variety show to benefit Ruth’s Place
Wyoming Seminary Lower School Parents Association will present “Acts of Kindness III,” a variety show held to benefit Ruth’s Place, at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 4, in the Amato Auditorium at the Lower School, 1560 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort. The Parents Association is accepting donations of nonperishable foods, kitchen and bathroom supplies, clothing, twin-size bed sheets, blankets and hygiene products.
MU sponsors trip to see ‘Grease’
The Misericordia University Alumni Association has a limited number of tickets available to the public for a day trip to Broadway to see the musical, “Grease,” on Saturday, April 5.
The bus will leave the Anderson Sports and Health Center parking lot at 8 a.m. Guests will have free time prior to the 2 p.m. matinee at the Brooks Atkinson Theater. Dinner is set for 5:15 p.m. at Rue 57 Restaurant. The bus will depart for Dallas promptly at 7:15 p.m. Tickets for transportation, show and dinner are $180 per person; show and dinner only are $155 per person.
