Lombardini signs NLI to play lacrosse at Binghamton

JOHNSON CITY, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – One of the best at lacrosse in section IV is taking his talents to the collegiate level.

Troeger Lombardini has been accepted to Binghamton University. Lombardini has been a member of Johnson City's varsity team for five years. He has been 1st Team Attack All-Division for Section IV for five consecutive years. He was also selected and played on the New Team Balance All-American team. After his final season in the Spring, he will go from a Wildcat to a Bearcat.

"I feel great," said Lombardini. "It all just feels so exciting, it's refreshing."

The Bearcats finished 6-7, and 4-3 in conference in their 2024 lacrosse season.

Kim Ye-ji, who won a silver medal in the women's 10-meter air pistol event at the Paris Olympics on Sept. 28, is taking a break from professional shooting.
