London woman accused of stabbing woman, slashing her tire
LONDON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A London woman is in jail after being accused of stabbing a woman during an argument Wednesday evening.
According to the Laurel County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrested Darice Shivrelhood, 53, around 6:45 p.m. near Dogwood Springs Drive after investigating an assault with injury complaint.

Investigators learned that Shivelhood reportedly hit Melissa Guy in the back of her head and stabbed her in the right arm with a switchblade knife before walking out the door. Witnesses said they saw Shivelhood slash a tire on Guy's vehicle before walking down the road.
Deputies said they found Shivelhood walking down the road with the knife. She was charged with second-degree assault and second-degree criminal mischief.

Guy was taken to Saint Joseph of London Hospital for treatment, according to the sheriff's office.
Shivelhood is due to appear in court at 9:30 a.m. on Friday.
