T.Lee4 hr ago

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the individual walked into a Newington Citgo Station on Tuesday, Nov. 12, purchased a $10 Fast Play lottery game, and walked out much, much wealthier.

In fact, the winning ticket earned the player a massive, $242,930 payout, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Citgo Station on 2407 Berlin Turnpike in Newington.

Fast Play is a relatively new style of game in which a lottery ticket is printed on demand and the player knows instantly if they won.

The longer a particular game goes without a winner, the higher the jackpot, with the winner's share of the jackpot dependent on how much was wagered, according to the CT Lottery Corp.
