ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Cheers rang out Thursday night at Innovative Field as Rochester native and rock star Lou Gramm took to the field.

"It's amazing, oh my god. We're so excited we couldn't wait for tonight," said Angela Condello, a fan at the game. "A double opportunity you know, to come to a game, but of all people in the world...we just shared with Lou when we were in Moscow, Russia, we heard him on the radio!"

The original lead singer of Foreigner and local icon got a special honor Thursday – as he sang the National Anthem at the Red Wings game against the Iowa Cubs.
