Julie Bishop put on a tender display with her boyfriend Stephen Gray on Tuesday as they made their way through Sydney Airport.

Ms Bishop, 68, who was Australia's foreign minister from 2013 to 2018, was seen lovingly holding the arm of her partner as they approached the check-in counter.

She showcased her timeless elegance in an unbuttoned cream blazer paired with a figure-hugging black crop top and matching pants.

The unofficial 'Minister for Fashion' completed her outfit with white sneakers and accessorised with designer sunglasses perched atop her head.

Ms. Bishop added a touch of glamor to her look with gold hoop earrings and looked focused as she wheeled her luggage through the bustling lounge alongside her partner.

The one-time deputy leader of the Liberal Party rocked her signature blonde feathered-out hairdo and a light layer of nude makeup brought out her striking facial features.

Meanwhile, her partner looked dapper in an unbuttoned black jacket paired with matching pants and a plain white T-shirt.

He completed his outfit with stylish aviator sunglasses and had his hands full with luggage and a green carry-bag.

It looked to be an exciting day out for the couple, who last year went public with their relationship.

They appear to have been an item for more than a year after she 'soft-launched' him on her social media accounts in July 2023.

Earlier this year, they travelled to South Australia for a 'fabulous Outback adventure'.

In a video shared to her Instagram page, Ms Bishop put together a montage of images and video clips from their holiday and tagged her partner.

Little is known about Mr Gray, whose Instagram account is private with only 60 followers.

The news of her new romance came two years after David Panton , 62, allegedly dumped Ms Bishop over dinner in Sydney in July 2022, putting an end to their eight-year relationship.

During their partnership, Ms Bishop took Mr Panton to the United Nations to meet world leaders, Buckingham Palace to hobnob with British royalty and to the White House where he met Donald Trump.

The pair first stepped out publicly in 2014, and were pictured at countless celebrity events over the years including the 2018 wedding of Karl Stefanovic and Jasmine Yarbrough .

Ms Bishop was understood to have been 'blindsided' by the sudden breakdown of her relationship, sources close to the former politician said.
