Lucy Liu flashed her legs in a sheer set of tights as she sizzled up a storm at a London screening of her upcoming movie Red One .

The action comedy stars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as the North Pole security chief, who finds himself faced with a crisis when Santa Clause is abducted.

Dwayne's character Callum Drift joins forces with bounty hunter Jake O'Malley, played by Chris Evans , to retrieve the kidnap victim.

Meanwhile Lucy, 55, features as the North Pole spy chief Zoe Harlow, who is apparently also part of the effort to locate Santa.

For her latest public appearance, the Kill Bill bombshell flaunted her figure in a slinky black outfit that enabled her to show off her sculpted legs to full advantage.

Lucy wore a snappy tuxedo jacket over a shimmery black top and a matching set of shorts, throwing her willowy figure into relief.

Her ensemble included a layer of fishnets over her décolletage, as well as a towering set of black stilettos to amplify the leggy effect.

Sharpening her screen siren features with makeup including a slick of crimson lipstick, she wore her dark hair back to reveal a pair of glistening earrings.

While making her way across the red carpet, Lucy managed to squeeze in a bit of posing with JK Simmons, who features as Santa Claus.

Meanwhile Dwayne was every inch the Hollywood heartthrob in a rust-colored jacket that appeared to be done in either velvet or velour.

Leaving the top button of his white dress shirt beguilingly undone, The Rock gave the look an extra dash of élan with chrome aviators.

Red One features a star-studded cast including Mad Men alumna Kiernan Shipka, Big Mouth co-creator Nick Kroll and Cheaper By The Dozen actress Bonnie Hunt.

The film was helmed by Jake Kasdan, who previously directed Dwayne in Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle and its sequel Jumanji: The Next Level.

Jake is the son of Lawrence Kasdan, who wrote Raiders Of The Lost Ark and co-wrote multiple Star Wars films including The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi.

Red One was meant to come out five days before Christmas last year, and at the time was only planned to be dropped on Prime Video.

However, the Hollywood strikes caused the movie to be postponed to this month, and it is now slated to receive a theatrical release.

At a recent press conference, Lucy revealed that she was initially told she would not be doing much screen fighting in Red One - only to then discover the opposite.

'I had spoken to Jake and asked if I needed to prep anything. He said, no, maybe she's gonna throw a kick and maybe a punch. That's it. You're just the boss lady, and then that's all it's gonna be,' said Lucy, according to Movies.ie .

'I show up to the set, we are doing the costume fittings, and then the stunt coordinator comes in, and he says, I just want to give you a little bit of a previz of what we're gonna do. He shows me this entire action scene. I kicked in; it was like I was alive again. I hadn't done it in a long time, but it just came back to me.'

The Charlie's Angels star added: 'I love watching action movies. I grew up watching them, and being on the screen, doing action is so exciting, and I think it gets kids excited, girls excited, and women excited.'

Red One bowed in the United Kingdom on November 6 and will be released in movie theatres in the United States next week on November 15.
