Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s are hiring for the holidays in NYC, NJ
NEW YORK (PIX11) – Looking for some extra cash this holiday season?
Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury stores are hiring over 31,500 seasonal workers across the country, including locations in New York and New Jersey.
NYC hiring for jobs with no education requirements
The open positions include full- and part-time jobs at all the chains' stores and distribution centers. In New York City and northern New Jersey, the most opportunities will be available at Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury.
The company will hold in-person hiring events at all its stores on Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 21 and Dec. 4. The application process will likely take only 48 hours before an offer is made, including a minutes-long online portion, according to Macy's Inc.
Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $28.88 for open positions in New York City, and starts at $15.13 per hour in New Jersey. Jobs range from sales associates to security guards to associate supervisors. And, for your holiday shopping, the jobs all include an employee discount.

Seasonal Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate, Herald Square , $16 – $22.05 per hour
Seasonal Asset Protection Security Guard, Flushing , $16.50 – $23.10 per hour
Seasonal Assistant Supervisor, Herald Square , $17.85 – $28.88 per hour
Seasonal Selling Champion Associate, Parkchester , $16 – $19.43 per hour
Seasonal Onboarding Champion Associate, Menlo Park , $15.13 – $18.50 per hour
Part-time seasonal Outbound Warehouse Associate, Seacaucus , $15.13 – $21 per hour
