‘Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade’ 2023: How to watch for free

The popular “Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade” will air this morning, Thursday, Nov. 23, beginning at 8:30 a.m. on NBC. You can watch the parade that’s been around since 1924 for free on FuboTV (offering $20 off the first two months of the subscription in addition to the free trial) and DirecTV Stream . The 2023 parade will feature 25 balloons , some of which include Bluey, Grogu, Leo, Paw Patrol, Spongebob Squarepants and Gary, The Pillsbury Doughboy and so many more. The rest of the parade, which marches in New York City, will consist of 31 floats , 18 performers , six ‘balloonicicles ,’ 11 marching bands and more! If you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of William Tennant , a clarinetist and the instrumental music director at St. Dominic School in Shaker Heights, who will be a part of a big band of band directors that’s part of the Saluting America’s Band Directors project (SABD) .
