Madison man arrested in vehicle burglaries in Fitchburg
A Madison man has been arrested in connection with a burglary at a Fitchburg apartment complex on Sept 27.
Donyell Love, 22, was arrested Wednesday by the Fitchburg Police Department Special Response Team when they executed a search warrant at a Madison apartment. During the search, officers found evidence linking Love to a burglary investigation from September.
On Sept 27, Fitchburg officers responded to an apartment complex in the 6200 block of Limestone Lane to reports of vehicles broken into in a underground parking garage. Officers determined Love had used a tool to shatter windows of at least five vehicles and take items.
Love had an initial appearance Friday in Dane County Circuit Court on charges related to the burglary and additional cases in Madison. In the Sept. 27 incident, he was charged with one count of burglary, five counts of criminal damage to property, four counts of entry to a locked vehicle, and two counts of theft.
