Main Street Fairmont hosts End of Summer Bash Hometown Market

FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WBOY) — Main Street Fairmont hosted its final Hometown Market of the year as an End of Summer Bash street fair, featuring over 40 vendors selling foods and crafts.

The market also included live music by the band "The Weary Space Wanderer" and the Fairmont State Academy for the Arts.

The bash was sponsored by Manchin Injury Law, whose tent had snow cones and cornhole.

Alex Petry, the Executive Director of Main Street Fairmont told 12 News that Main Street Fairmont will be back with more events this year, including the first-ever Frankenstein Beer and Hotdog Festival in Oct. They will be hosting the Hometown Holiday Celebration, featuring the Feast of the Seven Fishes as well on the weekend of Dec. 13th and 14th.

As for the Hometown Market, it will be back next summer in May.
