Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk returns to Union Station!

ST. LOUIS – Ava Clay was diagnosed with breast cancer eight years ago. Clay had a small lump that would grow and shrink each month, and after receiving a mammogram, biopsy and ultrasound she heard the words, "you have breast cancer." In less than a week, her whole life changed.

When Clay found out about the American Cancer Society, she experienced the great support and resources they provided her and others with information, temporary housing, education and even assisting patients with wigs.

Walk alongside Clay and many others in this fight at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in October. The walk is free, but attendees are encouraged to help raise funds with a personal goal of $100 or more.
