Malik Nabers injury: Giants WR goes down holding head, exits game vs. Panthers
Early in the fourth quarter of the Giants' showdown against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, New York wide receiver Malik Nabers left the game after suffering an apparent head injury. Nabers immediately entered the injury tent after being helped off the field.
According to the broadcast, Nabers received an evaluation for a concussion. However, Nabers re-entered the game on the final play of the drive after the team's trainers concluded Nabers was OK to continue playing.
As of this report, Nabers has three catches for 31 yards and the Giants trail the Panthers 17-14. It's been a relatively quiet day for Nabers, who has had a standout debut campaign.
Nabers entered the game on Sunday with 55 catches for 557 yards and three touchdowns. Nabers' 557 yards were the third-most among all rookies through the first nine weeks of the season, only trailing Brian Thomas Jr. and Brock Bowers.
