SALT LAKE CITY ( ABC4 ) — The man accused of stalking a University of Utah student on campus after entering an off-campus apartment where she was with two other students has been taken into custody, according to the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office.

Oluwatobi Oludaisi Shokunbi, 34, also known as "King Rocky," was charged earlier this week with misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass and lewdness.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office confirmed with ABC4 that Shokunbi was taken into custody on Friday, Sept. 20, and a no-bail hold has been requested.

"The defendant has put multiple female victims in fear for their safety and security within a very short time frame and is escalating in his behavior," charging documents state. "All the victims involved are young women who have been victimized in their homes or in other secured areas in which they have a right and expectation of protection."

According to court documents, Shokunbi entered one woman's home asking for her by name. The woman's roommate told Shokunbi to leave, which he did. However, he later allegedly approached the victim at a TRAX station. She told detectives she was "unsettled" by him and believed that he had been following her.

Days later, Shokunbi gained access to a secured building at the University of Utah where the woman was working on a project. He was approached by University of Utah police officers and removed from campus.

University of Utah Police said Shokunbi later returned to campus where he was taken into custody and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail. He was released later the same night, prompting a campus-wide alert warning students to alert authorities if he was seen on campus again.
