Man allegedly struck victim in head with dog bowl, set recliner on fire in Preston County
VALLEY POINT, W.Va. (WBOY) — A Preston County man is facing multiple charges after a dispute at a home in Preston County.
Jason Larman, 47, of Valley Point, was arrested at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 5 after a "physical confrontation," according to a release from the Preston County Sheriff's Office.
The release said that during the dispute, Larman "struck the victim repeatedly in the head with a dog bowl, causing injury" and then "proceeded to light fire to a recliner that the victim was sitting in at the time."

Larman has been charged with arson and malicious wounding and is being held at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail awaiting arraignment.
According to the release, Larman is prohibited from possessing a firearm, and multiple firearms were found in his home after the arrest. Additional charges are pending, deputies said.
