Man arrested after human remains found

ARCHDALE — An Archdale man was arrested after human remains were found at his house by sheriff's office deputies assisting a missing person investigation in Winston-Salem, the Randolph County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies went to a residence on Rob Cruthis Road on Monday at the request of the Winston-Salem Police Department. The human remains they found have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Raleigh for examination and identification.

The resident of the property, Beau Benjamin Martin, 31, was arrested and charged with felony concealment of a death. His bond was set at $15,000 secured.

No information about the Winston-Salem investigation was immediately available.

This is an ongoing investigation and the sheriff's office asks that anyone with information contact the Randolph County Sheriff's Office or the Winston-Salem Police Department.
