OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A man was arrested Monday in connection to a shooting that left one man dead in South Omaha.

Dak Lam, 22, was booked on warrant for a first-degree murder charge in connection to the shooting death of 21-year-old Keah Paljor.

He was found in Westminster, Colorado by the U.S. Marshals Service Colorado Violent Offender Task Force, a report says.

A warrant was issued in Oct. for Lam, with Omaha Police offering a $5,000 reward for a tip.

On Oct. 12, officers responded to the scene near 29th and T Street in Omaha. They arrived to find Paljor with a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital.

OPD said in a report that they would like to thank the law enforcement agencies that helped them in this investigation.
