Man dead after crash on Interstate 91 in Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. (WTNH) — A man is dead following a crash on I-91 South in Norwalk Tuesday. According to police, at around 3:37 p.m., Tiofilo Cruz, 63, of New York was driving a 2023 Nissan Altima near Exit 16 in the right lane of three when, for an unknown reason, the car collided with a concrete jersey barrier in the right shoulder. After colliding with the barrier, the car rolled onto its rooftop.
