Man in custody after failed traffic stop leads to crash in Prince George's County

A man is in custody after a police chase ended in a crash in Prince George's County Monday evening, authorities said.
At approximately 7:20 p.m., officers with the Prince George's CountyPolice Department (PGPD) attempted to pull over a vehicle after observing a moving violation. Police said the driver failed to stop, leading the officer to cease pursuit.
Moments later, the agency said the vehicle crashed in the area of Donnell Drive and Marlboro Pike.
PGPD said a firearm was recovered from the vehicle, and the driver was taken into custody after being rushed to a local hospital withminor injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
